Ferrari Club of America Members gathered from Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Canyon Lake, San Antonio and Houston to meet new friends and share their Ferrari enthusiasm in San Marcos, Texas from August 21st to August 24th. Several participants started their Friday off with some high speed laps at COTA sponsored by Ferrari of Austin. Another group took a bus into the historic Gruene district for a bit of shopping and lunch.
Friday evening, the entire group united for dinner at award winning Palmer’s Restaurant near the hills of Texas State University in San Marcos for a delicious dinner and meeting new friends.
Saturday as the sun rose, the caravan of beautiful prancing horses paraded out on the Texas Independence Drive ending for lunch in Shiner, Texas (see separate post for drive photos). On Saturday evening, the festivities began in a red and black themed beautifully decorated ballroom complete with an F8 Tributo and and Dolce Cilindri on display. We danced the night away to the energy and sounds of the band Dysfunkshun Junkshun.
